Rename the skill directory to writers-helper and update the name field, eval manifest skill_name, skill README title and example paths, root README catalog entry, and the skill-triggers index. Regenerate llms.txt, .claude-plugin/marketplace.json, .codex-plugin/plugin.json, and .agents/plugins/marketplace.json from their generators. Content is unchanged. Character Profile
Fill one per character (protagonist, every major antagonist, key secondary characters). The blanks are diagnostic: if goals come easily but traits don't (or vice versa), that's the side of the character you must develop.
Character
- Name:
- Role (protagonist / antagonist / ally / love interest / other):
- Age, appearance (only what the story needs):
- One-line introduction the reader would remember:
The dramatic line
- Overall story goal: what she concretely wants by the end:
- Obstacles: what stands in her way (internal and external):
- Potential loss: what she stands to lose (stakes):
- Short-term goals in scenes (examples):
The emotional line
- Flaw: the coping mechanism (born from a wound):
- Backstory wound: what happened before the story:
- Strength: the trait that will carry her through:
- Hate:
- Love:
- Fear: (what she fears most is what she must face to transform)
- Dream: (dreams become goals the moment she takes an active step)
- Secret:
Motivation
- Why does the reader forgive her worst action? (the why, reachable through present-moment thought and dialogue):
Voice
- Speech habits, vocabulary, rhythm (so a reader can identify her by dialogue alone):
- Things she would never say or do:
Arc
- What she is at the start (beliefs, skills, limits):
- What she must relearn / become by the climax:
- The transformed action at the climax (what the old self could not do):
Deepening rule
Never repeat, deepen: every reappearance shows wider consequences and a deeper glimpse. Note what gets deepened in each act:
- Act 1 →
- Act 2 →
- Act 3 →
