6fe5aed86e feat(skill): rename writing skill to writers-helper (#302)
Rename the skill directory to writers-helper and update the name field,
eval manifest skill_name, skill README title and example paths, root
README catalog entry, and the skill-triggers index. Regenerate llms.txt,
.claude-plugin/marketplace.json, .codex-plugin/plugin.json, and
.agents/plugins/marketplace.json from their generators. Content is
unchanged.

Scene Skeleton

One page per important scene. Fill all seven elements; a scene that fails several is a candidate for cutting or merging with another weak scene.

Scene

  • Chapter / position:
  • POV character:
  • Where in the story (beginning / halfway / crisis / climax):
  • Antagonist-driven (above the line) or passive/controlled (below the line):

The seven essential elements

  1. Setting anchor — when and where (season, day, time):
  2. Character emotional development — what this scene reveals or changes:
  3. Short-term goal — what the character actively wants here:
  4. Action toward the goal — what she does, shown not summarized:
  5. Conflict / tension / suspense / curiosity — the friction in the room:
  6. Emotional fluctuation — how feeling changes within the scene:
  7. Thematically weighted authentic detail — one concrete detail that means something:

Craft checks

  • Enter as late as possible (start near the outcome)
  • End as early as possible (cut the confirming closing beat)
  • One change per scene (if no change, delete or merge)
  • Cause-and-effect: this scene's action causes the next scene
  • One narrator; no leaks of unobserved thoughts
  • Emotion rendered as behavior, not labels
  • Dialogue subtext, not on-the-nose; speaker identifiable without tags

Why this scene must exist

In one sentence: what would the story lose if this scene were cut?

Notes for revision

  • What to fix on the next pass (structural first, prose later):
