6fe5aed86e feat(skill): rename writing skill to writers-helper (#302)
Rename the skill directory to writers-helper and update the name field,
eval manifest skill_name, skill README title and example paths, root
README catalog entry, and the skill-triggers index. Regenerate llms.txt,
.claude-plugin/marketplace.json, .codex-plugin/plugin.json, and
.agents/plugins/marketplace.json from their generators. Content is
unchanged.

Session Plan

A concrete daily writing session. Fill in the top before you start, the record block after. Minimum-plus-ideal: the floor still counts as success.

Before the session (2 minutes)

  • Today's date / session #:
  • Position in the story (beginning / halfway / crisis / climax / other):
  • Where the last session left off (recopy the last 2030 words here):
  • The next beat (what needs to happen now; from cause-and-effect of the last scene):
  • Gaps to leave blank (facts to verify later — do NOT research now):

The plan

  • Time reserved (block it in the calendar; protect it):
  • Distractions removed (phone off, boundaries announced):
  • Relaxation step (breath, posture — 60 seconds):
  • Goal — minimum (the floor that counts as a win):
  • Goal — ideal (the stretch):
  • Session length / structure (e.g., 2 × 25-minute blocks with a 5-minute break; see scripts/session-planner.py):

The ritual

  1. Recopy the last 2030 words.
  2. Write as fast as you can without editing (flow sprint; ~1,200+ words/hour is the low-water mark).
  3. Do not re-read; do not correct; leave gaps marked.
  4. Stop mid-scene or mid-sentence (never at a chapter boundary).

Record block (after the session)

  • Start time: Stop time: Total minutes:
  • Words written: Daily goal: Goal met? [ ] minimum [ ] ideal
  • Energy (110): Where did the energy flag?
  • Above/below the line? (Was this scene antagonist-driven or passive?)
  • What the scene revealed about the character (which profile trait surfaced):
  • Intrusions that stole time (for the space audit):
  • Where the next session goes (two lines max):
  • One thing to do differently tomorrow:

Weekly review (Friday)

  • Sessions this week: Words this week: Streak (days):
  • What worked / what didn't:
  • Adjust the plan for next week (keep the floor reachable):
